Ty Tessman, the HB Veteran

HB is proud to introduce the longest running member of the North American team Mr. Ty Tessman. Ty has been running for HB for exactly 3 years as of this fall and in that time has amassed a slew of impressive victories while remaining one of the friendliest factory pilots in all of R/C. It should also be noted that behind every great young talent is a great support structure and Ty may have the strongest foundation we've ever seen. His father Gord has been his mechanic since the beginning and still performs a great deal of the mechanical work on Ty's HB vehicles; allowing him to focus on perfecting his driving skills. To keep the two boys from ever getting homesick they are joined on all their journeys by Ty's mother, Leann, and sister, Jesse. Their racing experience truly is a family affair, not to mention the envy of every lonely 6th grade camper across the nation.

Ty's most memorable win occurred back in 2004 at the Western Canadian Off-road Championships. In just his first year of 1/8th scale competition Ty pulled off an impressive victory over the best drivers in all of Canada and at the age of 11 (yes 11) became the youngest Canadian champion in history.

Rarely do you find such a potent combination of driving talent and positive attitude and we at HB feel very lucky to have that in Ty and his family. We'd like to thank Ty and his family for all of their support.
